“Jumper” Sand Sifting Goby

I was helping a friend paint a vehicle that belonged to a local fish store (LFS) owner and we found this guy in the truck bed.  I think he’s some type of sand sifting goby. Turns out he jumped out of a tank that the LFS owner had done maintenance on.  I once found an eel that was mummified under my tank stand and was quite surprised it didn’t smell!

  1. I’ve had stuff like this happen too. Sometimes you don’t find their mummified body for years. One day your cleaning around your tank and there it is.
